Just me and three others: Brn Chris, PB Web (who is friends with Roy and organized it), WB Mel.
1. Half Guard Pass - Elbow Block.
a. Right hand on his bicep, that elbow on the mat pinning his left arm - which usually will come up and seek the underhook. The Elbow block keeps it pinned to the mat and him flat on mat.
b. the rest is the same ... Knee Slide for the Pass. But he is now all Twisted up.
2. KoB Chain.
A. Collar grip behind his neck - straighten, extend my hand to Crossface. Knee on Belly and when his pushes on my knee, GRAB at the ELBOW and pull up to my chest, get him up and on his side. Elbow Lift. And into Switch Armbar. Left hand on mat, switch/swivel.
var. Can't pull at Elbow -- pull Tricep/shoulder into me, my ELBOW digging high on his Chest/Sternum ... Left hand reaches, gets knee gi grip, step over DEEP by his waist and turn and sit into Switch Armbar ... as I'm sitting down SLIDE my hand along his arm to get to his wrist.
3. Armbar Breaks - his head at 9 O'clock, feet 3 O'clock, attacking his Right Arm, my feet facing 12 O'clock.
A. Wrist Grap
i. My left hand gets under his right arm, and reaches as far as I can to my right waist, creating Tension.
ii. Right hand underhooks his right leg as I fall to the right, which lets him come up.
iii. My right hand grabs his left wrist to separate his hands for the Finish.
B. Knee Tilt
i. If I can't reach his wrist, my left leg makes a Z, knee pointing to the right, feet to the left, under his neck, chest, PUSH on neck, SCRAPE against his top chest ... that will get the BREAK.
4. Step Over Choke (from Side Control)
i. Brabo gi grip with left hand under his head.
ii. come up KoB with right knee briefly, then slide across his chest and over his arm, pinning his right arm.
iii. Take big step over his head with the left foot, then inch with the foot against his head/ear.
iv. FINISH: foot against his head and straighten Brabo, turn in the wrist.
Counter 1: Blocks the step over and pushes away ... let him push and extend his hand ... my Brabo grip hand catches his wrist and puts it all the way back for Kimura. If he straightens out of Kimura, pull his triceps and var. ARMBAR above.
Counter 2: Pushes step over leg ... bring that hand across, reach deep with Brabo grip hand ... get to other side for ONE-HANDED ARM TRIANGLE ... get pressure HIGH on his chest. Also, if he Telephone Defends, pull wrist for WRISTLOCK.
5. Bow and Arrow Choke (from the Back)
i. Left hand opens left side collar, feeds to the Right. Does not have to be deep, chest level. Right hand grip twists in, with THUMB DOWN against chest, all other fingers going away from his body.
ii. Left hand grips at the knee.
iii. Left ELBOW FALLS to the left on the MAT -- that gives me space to swivel and get my right leg over his shoulder to lock legs and finish.
** to Make it even TIGHTER ... shrimp out, press/push my right knee against his shoulder instead of locking my legs together; ALSO, I can press my right knee behind his back and PRESS.
6. Mount into Bow and Arrow Choke
i. Drag arm across, chest pressure to get S Mount.
ii. Left hand gets collar choke grip.
iii. Can finish from top by straightening, extending choke grip or can go to regular Bow and Arrow, grabbing pants grip, lean back etc.
7. Closed Guard Passes
LOW PASS - i. right hand headlocks, left hand controls right tricep;
ii. sprawl to the left, then Kesa right leg under left.
iii. Left leg HOOKS his leg to stretch him, my right leg slides through for the Pass.
KNEE PINCH
i. When I feel him opening his guard a little, right hand grabs pants grip, PALM DOWN, staples his leg to the mat.
ii. Step over that leg, PINCH MY KNEES over his KNEE tight, and keep my LEFT LEG UP, to prevent his locking up Half Guard.
iii. Right knee presses inward, left leg steps out, right leg presses into this hip for the PASS.
** if he locks in Half Guard, press right knee in, Windshield my left leg over his and get the PASS.
