Finally, pulled off Backwards Roll Sweep off the Octopus ... the third attack in the system: 1. Front, right sweep; 2. Pull leg out and Back Take; 3. Pull him on top of you and Backwards Roll Sweep.
First time and on a BB at that.
Drill:
- Passing
- ESC / mount / back / side / armbar spiderweb
- Bolo
- Arm saddle
- shoulder crunch sweep.
Thoughts
- Skill development not winning rolls
- don't compare with others / compare with former self
- don't think belt colors
- roll w toughest guys in the room
- Finest swords made w heat and hammered.
- i've never said no to a roll / unless injured or short on time
- have FUN ... fundamental techs but also FUN techs / flashy impractical ones too ... keep it fun.
