Taps: 3. Total: 4743

BB Chris ... Half Guard Sweep with Lapel Underhook

1. After lapel grip, dive under, hide my head to prevent Crossface
2. Shovel leg, cross leg, outside in TORQUE
3. Get up on my elbow, hide my elbow
4. Come up on Dogfight, pinch my knees together
5. If he doesn't have Whizzard, then take BACK, otherwise start moving behind, behind and he falls over into sweep
6. Consolidate Side by picking up his far knee.

Vince showed me a variation of Octopus Sweep when he saw me stuck there. Outside leg over, then under and hook his leg and take him over. Need to practice this. New to me.

And he was showing Kimura from Side, step over and have his head between my legs and my knee rides his bicep so he can't link hands. Lift my back leg for more leverage.

Ok, so ashamed of the tap by gassing out. Made it to the bell when we were actually rolling for round and a half. Couldn't catch my breath and he was going to the far bell.

New wrinkle to the REV BUTTERFLY SWEEP ... totally discovered new sweep off the SAME grips ... cross sleeve, cross collar -- actually going for Old Man SWEEP, but I was able to get deep, deep collar grip and threatening the choke, but then I blocked with my right foot on mat and my left foot swung under his armpit.

and the REVERSE FLOWER SWEEP is born.

need to test it out some more.

lastly, the LOOP CHOKE -- another one, like the N/S choke that's easy to get to, but just so hard to finish. Like the Guillotine. Need to review the Finish. Along with 10-Finger G.
