BB Chris ... Mount ESC I - Elbow to Step over, trap ankle, to half guard
a. first saw this from D. Kang and Kesting vid.
Mount ESC II
a. get my legs between his
b. bridge and push up on his hips with both my hands, lift him and get my knees under
c. recover to double unders and Butterfly Guard
** didn't have that much luck with the second tech.
Then onto Line Drills and i got to work the Mount Top and wow! that stuff from Thorton is GOLD. yes, i got rolled twice, but my MOUNT is so much better than before. I can stay there a lot longer. Next steps:
1. work on Lizard walk -- so i don't get rolled.
2. Troubleshoot to say longer.
3. work on subs.
Note 1: stayed on BB Vince a lot longer than before, but he eventually got a leg. But he was able to turn ... his advice -- Pipe Choke grip in front, and turn him to get him back to Flattened.
b. or i was thinking, switch Crossface to other hand so i can turn his face the other way.
c. last resort, go to S Mount.
Note 2: rolling with BB Steve -- he got my back and got body triangle, and i rolled to that side to trap his ankle, and he immediate opened and threw his legs over for an ARMBAR. damn smoooooooth.
Note 3: BB Vince was showing BB Arman a SINGLE LEG FINISH -- Triangle the leg, than weave the hand between his legs, lean forward for a tackle.
Note 4: rolling with Blue Gunth -- he was working his Half Guard Pass on me -- the tech from last week ... and i gave him three opportunities and he could not Pass. When he switched and grabbed my top leg and went Reverse Half, he lost a lot of pressure on the Crossface with the Brabo grip. So i was able to turn in. I think he needed to grab the Underhook and Transition to KNEE CUT.
we were shown this but i think he forgot. he was so focused on the one Pass and wedge-getting his foot out.
- Granby recovery
- Rat Guard
- Jailbreak and Ghost and diff Path
- Lasso
- DLR Pass / Lepri Knee Cut off-side
- Pass Over/Under
