BB Fredo ... ran drills

1. Kob to Rev Kob to Kob to Windshield to Kob on the other side and repeat

2. Open Guard Passing / Leg Pummel
 a. Shin to shin pressure, swivel off hook to Knee Cut with hands on knee and hip

3. Stand Up / left hand collar tie, right inside elbow control
 a. lift up elbow control to get space, dive for the Single, High Crotch to Back Take and Take Down
 b. or Single Leg finish
 c. or sit down to dump over shoulder for Kata Guruma/Fireman

BB Vince -- Open Guard Passing
 I. DLR Pass ... Floating var. of a Knee Cut
  a. Back up a little and put non-Dlr knee on the mat, takes tension away from that leg, and stuff his leg between my legs
  b. Square up and pinch that leg with both my knees, squat back / Double lapel grab or both hands on mat and Knee Slide into the DLR side for the Pass

** Tweak: if he turns in and gets Underhook, he can escape or create scramble / if the does that Step over into MOUNT.

II. Spider Guard Pass I
 a. He's got double sleeve and feet on both biceps
 b. Get double pants grips, put my right foot forward and press against under his thigh -- that takes tension away and allows me to get his foot off my bicep
 c. stiff arm that leg with pants grip to the right, get it on the mat / staple shin on shin with my right foot
 d. wiper with left foot and replace staple off right foot with left
 e. Pass to the right

III. Spider Pass II
 a. Double pants grip, step forward and lean/push to one side
 b. Step over both his legs / Slide down into Pass.

Rolled with only BBs today, except Fredo. Vince, Gerald, Chris G, Mordy (who is the oldest at the academy; turns out i'm second oldest). Got Pipe Choked twice by different guys.

Rolling with Gerald, said i would go light because he's got injuries. And i did for about 15 seconds, when i was close to Passing, and I Passed and realized i was going too hard and was being a jerk and had to dial it down.

I respect all the BBs but i do not FEAR them. Not any more.


Drilling / before Class -- worked the Hop Pass on the dummy. Didn't get to drill the Bruno Side Armbar.
