BB Steve has a nice little school in Noho. A great little place if you're starting out your MA journey.
Went to visit and get a workout.
He went over Footlocks, which was good bc i suck at them and i've actually given up on them and went to Heel Hooks bc everyone's doing them and Straight Footlocks are actually much harder to finish.
They were all practically kids, and all White belts and one Blue. Had to remember to dial it back and not go for subs and just try to maintain top and let them work.
If i was being selfish i might not go back but i need to give back to the community and not just go to the toughest places just so that i can benefit.
I need to work on my subs and top game and maintaining, Side and Mount into subs. And Armbar Breaks. Never get to practice bc i never get here except there were so many lower belts today.
