Tech. 3 Kimura Attacks from Side.
1. Kimura to Back (Brown Vince showed this).
a. From Side, pass near hand over to other side of his head, and as he gets underhook and turns on his side, get Kimura grip.
b. Get my left leg over his head, then gi wrap over the hand and pass to my left hand.
c. My right knee behind his head, and my left leg goes over his body to get in the first hook.
d. My right hand gets under his head for cross face and roll him to other side to get my other hook in.
e. Got his back and work attack from there.
2. Kimura - Black Chris showed the next two.
a. From Side -- get slightly North-South, get my left hand under his elbow as my right hand controls his wrist to get the Kimura grip.
b. After I get Kimura grip, get him on his side, straighten my right leg and get it over his other hand/bicep to keep it trapped, and then step over his head with my left leg.
c. For finish, pull up and counter clockwise to put his wrist toward his shoulder.
3. Kimura to Armbar.
a. if he holds onto his gi and is too strong, then swing over into armbar.
b. hold my own collar to grip his wrist and other hand, down by the crook of his hand.
c. swivel over to get my leg out from under him and over his body for the finish.
Funny, I been watching the whole Kimura in a can series from Marshal Carper, which i like.
* Success with the Reverse Scissor Sweep. Pulled it off twice and almost a third.
Got to put that on my list of moves to drill.
Drill Focus:
1. S Mount ESC (Howell movement)
2. Back ESC (Wolverine and Basic Scoot)
3. Kimura Top Side.
4. Tanquinho Sweep.
