Armbar A -- usual attacking the right arm; 1. control the arm, left foot on his hip; 2. kick up with my right leg to break his posture to the left; 3. swing the left leg over his head.
Armbar B roll -- if he recovers and moves back to the right, swing my left leg over his right arm, behind his head, and my knee just under his chin; 2. as I roll on my belly and get the on my side; 3. I get the sub there or if he rolls.
** Black Chris showed the Deep Half entry again It attacks the Combat Base, the knee that he has up. ie. he has the right knee up ... 1. get my left shin against his right knee, wrap that knee with my left arm; 2. fall to the right as I lift his leg with my shin and get into Deep Half; 3. if he stands, then transition to X Guard ... get my right leg on his thigh, knee should be behind him, behind his butt; my right hand has his front left leg at the thigh, cupping it ... stretch him with my legs as i pull him down with the lapel with my left hand ... lift with my right leg on the thigh to get the Sweep as I come up KoB.
I like how Black Chris goes over the same techniques all week. So if you missed a class, you still can learn it, and if you come to all the classes then you're exposed to the same tech two or three times.
Mild success with Reverse Scissor Sweep, but usually only works once. But I always forget to try the Bump Sweep off the Fail. Need to drill it.
Speaking of Drilling, need to drill Flower Sweep, and if he bases out with his hand, then the Armbar is right there. duh. Need to remember to swing my left leg out, and get my head near his knee!!
Missed two classes because of this sore rib. It's a good excuse but I'm going to save it to use another day. Huffing and puffing, in a little pain as I breathed and rolled, but I WAS HAPPY. BJJ released some Happy chemicals in my body.
