Pre-Class No-gi -- Just Drills.
1. Leg Drag.
2. Leg Drag into a Over/Under Pass the other way. (really like this chain.); must drill the over/under more.
Class - Black Chris. Half Guard series.
1. Half Guard Sweep (var. of Old School Sweep.) - most of the YouTube vids show it from the Lockdown, but BC showed it from traditional Half Guard and cupping the knee.
a. Get underhook with the left hand; reach in and make him come forward as I dive in under his legs.
b. Grab his ankle with my right, diving hand and pass the ankle to my left hand, that was under-hooking.
c. My right hand then cups his knee as I bridge into him with my left leg and I come up on top.
2. If he bases, then I get the same sweep in the other direction.
3. Half to the Back.
a. Get underhook, and reach and shuck his arm, then come up on my elbow and I'm almost to the Back.
b. My left, underhook hand reaches over and grabs his far lat for control and pull out with my right leg, that has one hook in.
c. That should get me space on the other side to get my Left hook in.
** flatten him out and use elbow push to get under for the RNC from top/Back.
*** funny. my initiation reaction was he was going to show the armbar roll because that's my natural goto when I get only one hook
Tiny, minor Progress: didn't tap to Cheapo Kesa sub that strong guys use on me all the time. I used the Helio frame, but didn't have time to get my leg over for the escape, but made him go back to regular Side Control. Yay. Progress, considering I tapped to the same thing like three times last time.
Focus:
1. Armbar Switch.
2. Armbar Break 1.

1. After the leg weave, collar grip.
2. Knee over his thigh.
3. Get on my toes.
4. Slide/point/slice my knee below his knee to get it out (b/c I don't have underhook; if i did, then I get knee cut normally, but now, knee cut way down)
5. Once cleared, move my hips to the other side, moving him all the other way to a Leg Drag position.
