Taps: 849

Taps: 10. Total: 849.

Hey, ho first time no-gi. Brown Vince turned his early class before the class into a no-gi. Fun. Felt like White Belt.

He taught two Guillotines -- one from Half top and one from Side top. Both kind of cupping under the guy's chin. Side one - standard controls, cross face and underhook the far arm, kill his near arm with my knee under his armpit. Then pull on his far arm, get him on his side like I'm going to spin to other side for armbar, but instead, wrap around his neck with my other arm, and go almost to Mount and finish the Guillotine.

Regular Class -- Black Chris showed:
1. Open Guard, Lasso Guard Sweep.
 a. hip out, get on my right side, double sleeve controls.
 b. get my left leg over his arm and under his armpit (lasso);
 c. get in close, my right leg on the same side as lasso, across his hip area.
 d. right hand switches grip from sleeve to pants or knees.
 e. push pull with the lasso, then pull and sweep him.

2. Turtle Turnover with the neck lapel grip.
 a. like I'm going for the Clock Choke, but get on other side and pull, and it's actually Bow and Arrow Choke.

3. var. if the pulls out of Bow and Arrow, -- then Armbar.

Mild Success -- Guillotine Sweep (inspired by Lovato); Collar Butterfly Sweep (Saulo's vid).

Homework:
1. Half Guard Top -- if he gets the underhook ... I have three main options:
 a. Darce choke (can't get my arm all the way around).
 b. Reverse Sit Pass (kind of gone away from it. Don't know why. Bring it back.
 c. Fantasma Pass. (drill it.)

2. Baseball Choke with Lapel.
