1. Different Path ... Octopus-like under, then hip control with far arm - works half the time.
2. Knight Side Esc vid
Tech a. Traditional, cross faced n smashed - near wrist checks his hip, far arm snakes under his chin, forearm under his neck, hand frames his shoulder; get on side, near leg flat, bridge with other leg, shrimp back/away then back into him and near knee in to Re-Guard.
Tech b. Prevent cross face - bridge schrimp, far side Underhook, scissor legs n come up to knees, grab his knee/knee pick with both hands to come up on top.
Tech c. Prevent crossface - as he comes over, push on back of his traps to sweep.
3. Knight same vid, Kesa Esc - has Underhook
i. Sit up, push on biceps or shoulder with both hands, timing it to when he transitions from side to kesa.
ii. Standard kesa headlock w/o Underhook - frame with far arm under his neck, link hands, get on my side, schrimp back, get my leg over his head, if necessary.
Frame Esc 2 - too tight, get on side, schrimp, swing legs up n then back down to get him over.
4. Knight same vid - KoB Esc 1: Shin on bicep sweep, grab wrist n c clamp far leg n, scoot hip under him for sweep.
KoB Esc 2 - leg trap, but also hooks far leg.
5. Power of 2 on 1 - Lyman/Castro vid
1. Control crossface wrist and he can’t pass on that side
2. Push his hand between his legs or behind his hip, move my body to re-Guard
3. Let go with right hand n post it on Mat to sit up to re-Guard or get hook in.
4. If he hops to other side, turn to other side n 2on1 the other arm, same thing on that side.
Bonus gi Sweep: right hand stuffs his hand between legs, left hand reaches over to back for gi material or belt, and bridge n roll over Sweep
