Taps: 580 - Last Training of 2012

Taps: 3. Total: 580.

Private with Lil Bro Brown Mike.

Movement drills.
1. Gymnastica kick, hurdle stretch to each side.
2. Gymnastica belly down, other side stretch.
3. Side Esc shrimp to over shoulder to Guard recovery.
4. Upside down, cross legs spin turn Guard recovery.

Tech - Open Guard Sweep.
A. My right hand cross grip on his right wrist sleeve; left hand on his right ankle; left foot on his right hip; right foot controlling his left hand, circling.
B. Push with foot on hip, pull with the cross grip, keep him stretched.
C. 2 triggers - 1. left foot comes forward; 2. left hand goes up trying to clear my foot. -- then push, pull and hold ankle as I hook with right foot behind his left leg/knee.

Reminders:
1. Open guard/Butterfly Guard - don't let him get both knee grips, always remove that grip on my right knee; always control that left hand. (just saw Marcelo and Emily Kwok roll and he does that a lot).
2. Bow and Arrow Choke - grip doesn't have to be deep, but hide elbow down and behind his head, and the finish comes from the lean back.
